Terms and Conditions

Effective January 1, 2026

Prattville Concrete, concreteprattville.com, hi@concreteprattville.com

Accepting these terms

These terms cover your use of this website and any estimate, scheduling or work you arrange with Prattville Concrete, a concrete contractor in Prattville, AL. By using the site, calling us or sending the contact form, you agree to them.

If you don't agree, please don't use the site. If a written estimate or contract for your job says something different from these terms, the written agreement for that job controls.

What we do

Prattville Concrete builds and repairs concrete flatwork, the flat pours like driveways, patios, sidewalks and garage floors. We also build steps, retaining walls, footings and slab foundations, and we do foundation raising and concrete cutting. You can read about each service from our home page and learn more about our crew on our About page.

What you read on this site is general information about concrete work. It isn't a promise about your specific job, because every yard, slab and soil condition is different until we've seen it.

Estimates and pricing

We give free estimates at your property, with no obligation to hire us. An estimate is based on what we can see and measure that day, including the size of the area, the condition of the subgrade, which is the ground the slab sits on, any old concrete to remove, access for the truck, and the finish you choose.

Prices on an estimate are good for the period written on it. If we find something once the job is open that nobody could see beforehand, such as soft ground, buried debris or roots, we'll stop and tell you before doing extra work. We won't charge for added work without your approval.

Scheduling, weather and cancellation

We schedule pours around the weather, because rain, freezing nights and hard midday heat can all weaken fresh concrete. If conditions aren't right, we'll move your date and let you know as soon as we can, and that isn't a breach of our agreement.

If you need to reschedule or cancel, call us at (334) 788-0315 as early as you can. Any deposit and how it's handled if you cancel will be spelled out in your written estimate or contract.

You agree to give our crew reasonable access to the work area on the scheduled days and to keep people, pets and vehicles off new concrete during curing, the waiting period while it hardens, for as long as we tell you.

Payment

Payment amounts, due dates and accepted methods are set in your written estimate or contract. Unless that agreement says otherwise, the balance is due when the work is complete.

If a payment is late, we may pause further work until it's paid, and you'll be responsible for reasonable collection costs where Alabama law allows them.

Warranty and what concrete can do

We stand behind our work and want you satisfied with it. Any specific warranty for your job is the one written in your estimate or contract, and there is no other warranty unless it's in writing.

Concrete can develop small hairline cracks and some color variation even when it's built right, which is why we cut control joints, grooves that give the slab a planned place to crack. Those normal traits aren't defects.

To the extent the law allows, we don't give implied warranties beyond what's in your written agreement. That includes damage caused by misuse, heavy loads the slab wasn't built for, deicing salts, ground movement, drainage changes made after our work, or repairs done by someone else.

Limits on our liability

To the extent Alabama law allows, our total liability for any claim about our work is limited to the amount you paid us for that work. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost use of a driveway, landscaping disturbed by normal construction access, or damage to buried lines you didn't tell us about.

Before we dig, tell us about any sprinkler lines, buried cables, septic parts or private utilities in the work area so we can work around them.

Resolving a problem

If something isn't right, call us first so we can come look at it. Most concerns are settled with a conversation and a site visit, and we'd rather fix a problem than argue about it.

If we can't work it out together, either side may take the matter to a court with jurisdiction in Autauga County, Alabama, unless your written agreement names another way to settle it.

Governing law

These terms and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page is the one in effect. Changes won't alter a written agreement you've already signed for a job.

Questions about these terms can go to us by phone at (334) 788-0315 or through our Contact page.
